How students organize their time is a valuable skill. Students will complete a survey of their time and make priorities as to how to manage their time wisely.
Note Taking
Using the SQ3R and Cornell Method students will use these methods and apply them to their notes and class lessons.
Becoming a Listener
In this session we will focus on how to become a better listener. What should students look for in the body language of the presenter, and key phases that indicate relevance to the topic at hand are reviewed.
Study Guides
Study guides can be of great benefit to all students. Yet, many students do not know how to incorporate them into their notes and study skills. With an extended session we can apply these skills to specific areas of the curriculum.
